Holland House
Support Holland House Through Your Talent & Treasure
Holland House by Rolling in Faith is a faith-based day program that aims to create a safe space for adults with intellectual disabilities in the four-river region to maintain the skills necessary to thrive as independently and successfully as possible.
Holland House will provide opportunities for education that empowers and inspires. This allows our participants to grow spiritually/emotionally, educationally, and interpersonally. These experiences allow our participants to forge a path in the community that is individualized to their specific needs and interests, showing our community the value that people with disabilities bring to all areas of our society.
If you are interested in supporting Holland House, you can do so in a variety of different ways. Here are some ways that you can serve with us!
Program Assistant: Program assistants are there to be an extra set of hands to assist participants in their daily activities. It could be anything from assisting with a craft, meal, or any other daily activity that might require some extra help. We will need multiple program assistants each day. Volunteers are never alone with or asked to assist participants in toileting, bathing, or administering medications.
Program Specific Contributors: PSCs are individuals who might not be comfortable with a 1: 1 position but can provide knowledge of a specific skill set. Some examples of PSCs would be roles such as cooking class teacher. Or guest speakers who would come and present on a specific topic. This role would be the perfect role for someone who could help on a limited basis.
